Why build walls when there are two sides to the game?
And why do walls divide us into planes of two-dimensional decisions?
Where is the legal movement forming a new means of thinking, working, and effectively transposing one decision to another through the questions of our own internal mind?
Why throw a snowball over the high tree to see it land or maybe fall apart in cold mid-air?
Hafiz would know the answer or a better question which would give the single form of thought and thus a new corrective frame of reference - union?
Isn't a wall a separation of a union from another side?
Do walls mean much if they are mortar, bricks, ice, lakes of blood and shrapnel?
The Berlin wall still stands in our museum, adorned in colors, paints, phrases, sentiments, so many dreams and phrases: korwa, . .. . I don't know German, and am blessed in my forgetful mind.
The Wall between Palestine and Israel still stands. Sharon dead, armies fighting, children scared in tears because the garden of Eden is not a child's playground in their mind until the walls are not dividing one hate from another and one loving mother from another and one loving strong willed father from another and news and news and more strange news that seems to say the same: "They hate us!"
Ah, walls. Impose their shields on our minds and speak to us in cries of angry protest (against> movement, corrections, amendments, and discussion. Use those walls to speak unless the words are still not there because the schools forgot to give enough real content of which to speak. Or walls from one side of the cord field to another.
A friend once said - no borders and no walls. How loving, kind and open is her heart. In a world full of invisible walls, at least the strong walls of snow and ice show clear division, anger and a desire for change toward.....wish I never knew a better world, because I don't know just what made it better. Wish I never knew a better world, because the tools to recreate are still invisible, unlike this wall of snow, ice, fire, stones and soldiers keeping us from peace and freedom of ourselves. And before these wishes are made truly - I take back wishes never to have known a better world, because the rays of sweet warm sunshine are too strong to hide in any cave.
